If you live in Metro Atlanta, it is no longer necessary for you to wait for an opening in a clinic or detox center and to leave your home or job. The SUBOXONE medical detox program, a new way to detox from opiates in the privacy of a certified doctor’s office, is being offered by Dr. AJ, at FAST MD 4 You Clinic in Suwanee, Ga.
What is Suboxone?
Suboxone is the first drug under the Drug Act of 2000 approved to treat opiate addiction in an outpatient setting under a doctor’s care. Suboxone is a combination of Buphrenorphine and Nalaxone that helps to rid patients of the cravings and anxiety of opiate addiction. There is also a much lower risk of abuse and overdose as compared to other methods* (source: Suboxone website)
We encourage you to learn more about Suboxone treatment by visiting the Suboxone website.
Why is it right for me?
The Suboxone Method is for patients who want to fight their addiction but who also want to go on with their everyday lives. Treatment is completely confidentialand there is no stigma attached to coming to the office. We treats many patients with other types of physical ailments. We treat the whole patient. Appropriate psychological or psychiatric care will be recommended as well as any necessary pain management treatment.
Who can benefit?
Suboxone treatment is an effective treatment for you or your loved one who suffers from an addiction to opiates such as Heroin, Vicodin, Oxycontin, Percocet, Codeine or similar drugs. It may be the right treatment method for someone who has been on drugs, but now has a job and wants to get treatment without further disrupting his or her life.*
We have regular office hours that include treatment for his Suboxone Medical Detox patients. Same-day (and short notice) appointments are easily scheduled which can be helpful during the difficult initial phases of drug treatment.
We also have evening and Saturday appointments to better accommodate the patients.
Please contact us at 470-424-8888 to make an appointment.
* Suboxone treatment is not the right treatment for everyone. This can only be determined after you have an exam and consultation with the doctor. You may experience side effects associated with the use of Suboxone. These are detailed on the Subxone website.
